The board of directors of Foothills Community Foundation celebrated the memory of its founding chairman on March 15th with a reception and dedication. Members of the Seabrook family along with friends of the Foundation gathered to dedicate the Cordes G. Seabrook, Jr. Board Room.
Board chairman John Miller and President Robert Rainey reminded the group of Mr. Seabrook’s determination to match the challenge provided by William Law Watkins to create a charitable community foundation in 1999. Mr. Seabrook’s brother Bill and son March shared remembrances of the founding chairman, who passed away in 2015. Mrs. Clinky Seabrook along with her grandson Thayer Seabrook, unveiled the portrait of her late husband. She expressed her appreciation to the Foundation for honoring his memory.
